Ah yes, whats that smell, its the smell of Carolina loosing. J Why in the hell am I jumping up and down cause of that? Well watching the panthers versus colts I noticed something. Most successful teams during the regular season i.e colts really don’t pay that much attention to winning the game instead they pay attention to sharpening and playing players who they need a good game time look at. Well, what’s that remember the Hart guy running back or Tamme tight end. That kid is going to scorch defenses this coming season for the colts.
When did this blog turn into a colts licking fan fest, well since I became a panther fan I am always watching around the league for well run teams that win over and over again. Sandiego, colts, Baltimore, New England. They are finesse in the way that they run their organization and worry about the team more than the player. Who would have thought that New England would land safety Lynch from the broncos after loosing Asante Samuel. Sure Asante was a great cornerback, but this is a business and you have to be really careful with your decisions.
Now this was about the panthers loosing at Philadelphia. I have this wild belief that appearances can be deceiving. What you see in practice and what you see on the field are 2 different things. Jake delhomme was brought in to a REAL GAME situation and of course there were drops, Muhammad got clobbered in the head(lol) and Jonathan Stewart ran for 3 yards. The major receivers wont be around till the third game, and you know what I fucking love it. This will give Carolina time to really identity whos, who. Who can help the team win and who cant. For instance, I wouldn’t be surprised if they let labrandon toe field go and kept decori Birmingham instead. Jason carter will do anything from special teams to delivering Gatorade to my apartment.
Games with Philadelphia have always been tough. Carolina has shutdown Philly on its way to the super bowl(2003) and returned the favors over and over again.
Well cant wait for the next game but all in all it was a good game.
P.s Litto shepherd should just sign up as Carolina panthers 7 receiver for theres no recollection In my memory where he hasn’t intercepted a Jake delhomme pass.
