Just seems like yesterday during the 2006- 2007 season when the panthers completely fucked up and would miss games by 3 to 4 points. Here we are again 2008 – 2009 season and someone better get their shit together.
Everyone is being nice, john fox this and john fox that but honestly. The panthers are going to have to grow some balls if they aim on being one of the elite teams in the nfl. If you think about the colts, patriots, steelers heck even the cowboys ; those teams don’t play around when it comes down to talent acquisition.
Fans knew it all the way from last season that we wouldn’t go anywhere. Not with keary Colbert and his brother Lorenzo lamas. J
We can all tell that the panthers this season were dedicated to changing things around and we all love that don’t we. We have seen a new offensive line , hell even deek cooper was let go. We have more celebrities in the nfc (especially on defense), guys who know their shit and should deliver. Don’t believe me, well chris harris, Julius peppers, jon beason , dan connor, that godfrey kid everyone is excited about. Richard “I would want you around if I was getting robbed” marshall – on and on.
There is little focus on who the chicken is in this whole contest and mike trygovac is the guy who needs a lot of watching. They have to blitz non stop this season. Panthers cant allow visiting quarterbacks to just sit there and text their girlfriends and mistresses and throw touchdowns all day long.
There is a sense of commitment this season from the panthers with the way they have reshuffled their offensive line and addition of players on defense but there is more to that to winning games when teams like new England are around. Or if you expect to go against them. You have to play smart.
