While I totally do feel that Carolina still has a while to go before it comes mano a mano with teams like san diego chargers , pittsburg steelers or even colts , they should provide enough entertainment and embarrassment this coming season.
So just like any other blog out there, Carolina panthers really sticked it into Washington redskins who I really thought were underrated. Enough with the thinking, surely lets focus on what we have.
Offense:
Jake delhomme is good enough to score points and move the ball. Maybe next season he will have receivers with enough experience to be really really good.
Jonathan stewart and his highness(deangelo willaims who is underated) will light up teams this coming season. It’s a scary thought when we go about game 3 and whatever team that will be coming in to Nc and we get guys like smith, muhssin together on the field.
It was sorry to see Jason carter today on the injured reserve(or was i). Get well and go back to practicing again more and more until the things that matter become part of your being. I believe Jason carter still had a while go and somewhere there is a receiver waiting to light up the scoreboard, right now we have all that we need. Travis taylor, dwyanne jarret(good job against the redskins) muhssin and that kid Steve smith.
Defense:
I have this fantasy, that this February mike trygovac was watching the superbowl and saw what was missing from his team. Last year if you didn’t notice most teams were in there for the quick pass, why cause we had big ass guys like kris Jenkins, make kemoatu who were supposed to be the answer to big running backs i.e shaun Alexander.
The key to football this days is not to stuff the run but to get to the quarterback as quickly as possible. Steelers do it, Colts are perfecting it and Carolina has no choice. If mike trygovac wants to keep his job he better get in shape. And of course, I cant wait.

As usual we have a deep core of corners.. bye bye curtis deloatch, linebackers(shut the hell up Adam seward – you are expandable) and we are still short at defensive tackles.
